Arab American Month is an annual event celebrated in the U.S. in April to recognize the contributions of Arab Americans to the nation’s culture, history, and economy. It was first established by the Arab American Institute in April of 2000.

During Arab American Month, Arab Americans come together to celebrate their diverse cultures, heritage, and contributions to the United States. Events such as film screenings, lectures, and performances are held throughout the month to recognize the achievements of Arab Americans.

In addition to celebrating Arab American culture, Arab American Month is also used to raise awareness of issues facing the Arab American community, such as discrimination and racism. It is an opportunity to educate the public about the diverse Arab American population and to promote understanding and acceptance.
